What we do

The first Audyssey technology, MultEQ, was developed after years of research by USC professors, audio industry pioneer Tomlinson Holman and audio signal processing researcher Chris Kyriakakis, along with Dr. Sunil Bharitkar and Philip Hilmes. MultEQ equalizes and improves audio systems by solving one of the most critical problems in sound reproduction: the negative effects of room acoustics. The groundbreaking MultEQ technology was first embraced by same home theater market leaders and initially licensed into home theater receivers in 2004. Other companies quickly embraced MultEQ and today hundreds of home theater systems, televisions, automobiles, studios and cinemas offer Audyssey technology.
